Shedding the World
To realize the Self is to see everyone and everything to be within and not without. … More Shedding the World
I love metaphysics and nonduality! My passion is a scavenger hunt in western and eastern philosophies and spiritual traditions to find the commonalities among them. I have found that one and the same truth is expressed in all of them, and that they all differ only in the outward form of their expressions. My search is primarily inspired and shaped by Vedanta Metaphysics and Husserlian Phenomenology, particularly Husserl's method of Phenomenological Reduction which allows one to access the transcendental dimension of consciousness. I started my blog NOEMAYA in 2013 to share my findings and experiences. I also started a book series on nonduality and published my first book called "Nondual Perspectives on Quantum Physics" in 2014. I have a degree in theoretical physics from the University of Maryland and currently teach physics and mathematics to high school students.

I am lost in some strange neighborhood of my mind; there are so many buildings and high-rises in every direction that I have lost my sense of orientation. I don’t know how I ended up here. Happiness or meaning! Which would you choose? Happiness is about how we feel, physically and mentally, so its attainment is a matter of attention to one’s self. Meaning, on the other hand, is about how we are spiritually oriented toward the other, an activity that by nature must aim at something beyond and greater than … More Pursuit of Happiness & The Life of Meaning
My meditation sessions are sometimes blissful, sometimes chaotic, sometimes going absolutely nowhere. They are also sometimes insightful, flashing against my mind creative or spiritual ideas that I want to write down but have to mindfully, and painfully, wait until the end of the meditation to do so.
