Don’t judge your life by how you feel today; it’s too short to be an objective measure. Accept the feeling, notice the judging, and dwell in the witnessing “I.” O, human! The soul has come a long way, rising from chaos and crawling its way through a tortuous path to reach your refined form. Widen your perspective and see that the soul’s journey is always an upward trajectory, that suffering is both transient and necessary if beauty and transcendence is the goal. From within this new perspective, gratitude is no more a chore but rather an obvious and spontaneous response to the path. Love all that is, for all is serving your fine end.
Very nicely defined. Most people won’t understand this at all. Perhaps your readers will.
PS: I find myself grateful for people more intelligent than I because I learn so much from them.
Peace
